Rocky Mountain People & Strategy Newsletter: January 2026
President's Report

As senior People leaders, each of us is being asked to do more than ever - drive business results, steward culture, navigate constant change, and support people through moments that truly matter. The expectations are high, the pace doesn’t seem to let up, and the role continues to evolve. More than ever, it’s important that we continue growing - not because we aren’t already strong leaders, but because the work demands it. Growth requires intention. It requires stepping out of the day-to-day and taking time to reflect, learn, and be challenged by peers who understand our world.
Rocky Mountain People & Strategy exists to be that space. A place for senior People leaders to think together, learn from one another, and engage in honest, meaningful conversation. Through our programming, peer connections, and shared experiences, our goal is to support you not just as professionals, but as leaders navigating real decisions with real impact. Our programs are designed with you in mind—so check out the upcoming programs and sign up today. We know you’ll find value in taking the time to attend…even though we’re all too busy!
A couple of quick reminders:
- If you’re interested in taking on a leadership role with RMPS, please contact any member of the Board for more information. There are plenty of opportunities to volunteer & get involved at a number of different levels, including serving on the Board.
- Nominate someone today for a Pillar Award (see more below). People teams are doing amazing work and we want to recognize and honor those individuals who are making a difference every day.
Lastly, as we kick off this year, the Board wants to remind you that you are not alone. By being part of Rocky Mountain People & Strategy, you have a network of peers who are ready, willing, and competent to help, advise, and support you on your journey. We hope you’ll engage fully this year, bring your questions, your insights, and your experience. Together, we can continue to elevate ourselves, our organizations, and the impact we have on the people we serve.
With appreciation and optimism for the year ahead,
Pattie Money and Robin Kane (Co-Presidents)

This is an amazing way to build connections and a strong network of other senior People leaders. Be sure to sign up soon!
